How to Collect Brainrots

To collect a Brainrot, fly from your base to the appropriate rarity area on the obby map. When you land on a platform, press E (PC) or tap (mobile) to pick up the unit. Your Carry capacity limits how many you can hold simultaneously — upgrade Carry at the blue stall to increase this limit to 6.

Fly back to your base and place each Brainrot on an empty pedestal. The unit immediately begins generating Cash. Step on the green pad in front to collect earnings. For detailed collection strategies, see our rare Brainrot hunting guide.

Upgrading Placed Brainrots

Every Brainrot at your base can be individually upgraded. Click the yellow sign in front of its pedestal to spend Cash on level increases. Upgraded Brainrots generate significantly more income per second. Prioritize upgrading your highest-rarity units first since their income scales are larger.

Base slot expansion is equally important. If you run out of pedestals, spend Cash to upgrade your base and unlock additional storage slots. More slots mean more passive income streams running simultaneously, including while you are offline.

Rarity and Area Guide

Each rarity tier corresponds to a map area at increasing distance from your base. Common Brainrots spawn closest, while OG units appear at the map edge. Consult the game map for area distances and required Speed levels. The tier list ranks rarities by practical value at each progression stage.

Mutations and Special Variants

Some Brainrots spawn with mutations that multiply their income. Rainbow, Hacker, Solar Wrath, Gold, and Cosmic mutations can appear on any rarity. A mutated lower-tier Brainrot may outperform an unmutated higher-tier unit. Learn every mutation type on our Mutations guide.

Selling Unwanted Brainrots

The Sell Shop near your base lets you sell Brainrots for instant Cash. This is useful for clearing inventory space and funding upgrades. Sell lower-rarity duplicates and keep your best income generators. Never sell a mutated Brainrot unless you have a better mutated replacement ready.
