Event Mutations
Rainbow, Hacker, and Solar Wrath mutations are primarily distributed through in-game events. During these events, random Brainrots on platforms receive mutation effects. The event window is limited, so active players during events have a significant advantage in collecting high-multiplier units.

Mutated Brainrots persist through Rebirth since placed units are not reset. When comparing two Brainrots for the same pedestal slot, always calculate effective income (base rate × mutation multiplier × pedestal upgrade level). A Gold-mutated Rare Brainrot can out-earn an unmutated Epic on the same slot, freeing you to sell the weaker unit at the Sell Shop and reinvest Cash into Speed upgrades instead.
